I had some assorted pics from the club so I thought I'd further embarass my pal Mogly. In the picture on the left you can tell he's not his usual self. Anyway as I said before we ended the night with an expensive ass cab ride and it was time to look forward to the very hyped up meet.
So having drank so much the night before it was no mystery we got up waaay late. It's still so embarassing because I arranged the meet-up and I was running late for my own event! We finally left to Waterloo and to the London Eye where there was alot more people than I was anticipating. I kept looking at wandering kids and thought I wonder if they are in the meetup group. Luckly Tom was already there and keeping things at bay for me. Finally arrived to where everyone was, and we snagged a few photos and proceeded to Naamco, this arcade of sorts.
At Naamco we did the usual thing and started playing some multiplayer games, Tom and Kirk I believe went to take on Time Crisis 3 and everyone started to disperse. I went to go for a game of that sega racing game I dont remember what its called but its pretty old school now. So then we decided that we should get tokens for bumper cars, we did so and then found out that there wasnt enough cars for everyone to get one and have a mash fest. So I believe one group went ahead of me and did that while me and some others waited. While we waited the inevitable DDR dance off surfaced... in all the meet-ups I've been to that involves arcades I somehow always end up playing this fucking game that i hate so much.
Hilarity ensued; ACTUALLY Tom was actually pretty good at it and of course kicked my ass.. I just find it too humiliating and so yea I got demolished. After me Kirk decided to take a go and was also greeted with the same fate. After that, the bumper cars were ready for group two so I proceeded to do something I'm more comfortable with. That and the fact that i wanted to run into Tom as hard as I could for beating me at DDR.
After the match of bumper cars, we played a few other games and then went down to the bar area. We hung out for a bit as there was a few more people that still wanted to show up and were running late, so we sat around and chatted. I talked to Kirk about how different american slang is with his english. It was entertaining to say the least. Probably because half the time I couldnt make out what he was telling me. Ah well, eventually Bezman and BritishMoose showed up to complete the group of NG hoodlums. So we decided to go ahead and head elsewhere. Heres some pictures so far..
We left Naamco and started walking towards the Trocadero and get something to eat.
