Day 4
This is actually not literally the last day I was in London but photos become scarce at this point so there was no point in dragging out another page. Also mostly everyone was packing up and shipping out so it felt like a good wind down to the whole craziness. Most of Sunday was spent at the flat. People were still recovering from hangovers and all around exhaustion for most of the day. Later in the afternoon we went over to Camden during the daytime to do some shopping and what not, we also took the opportunity to visit the Tate Modern and wind out the day with some Chinese Food at Chinatown.
That wraps London Meet III, it just gets better and better every year. I had my reservations about inviting random NG folks but I must say that I was pleasantly suprised and came to realize in the end we are all hardcore fans of the site and as long as we have that in common then there is no reason why we cant enjoy each others company. I could write thank you's for another 20 pages but for the sake of not boring you I wont.
I DO want to thank a few particular people who made it possible for this to go off without a hitch. Tom has continuously taken the meet and peoples entertainment on his shoulders for every meet I've thrown together in London and this time was no different. Your leadership and your 'in-the-know' instincts are invaluable. Dave, who took on the housekeeping duties that nobody else wanted and made sure the flat remained hospitable.
KaynSlamdyke and JPI who handled the flat entertainment via Rockband, projectors, etc. And lastly, just everyone who made it out.
I can only look forward to the next time we rip apart London.
Missed this year's London Meet? Plan ahead for London Meet 4 on January 17th, 2009 (tentatively). We'll kick off the year with a dose of NG and also celebrate my birthday!
