Day 1

I arrived to London on Thursday August 28th to make preparations for what was going to be the biggest NG turnout I've hosted. Unlike previous London meets, this year the meet was broadened to anyone who frequented NG, previously, the meet had been an event reserved for Flash artists and programmers. I felt with a few meets already under my belt, it was time to include the rest of the gang.

The day kicked off fairly uneventfully, the first to arrive was AsthmaticHamster aka Kevin. Like me, he had flown from North America and was well jetlagged like I was. We met up at the Tube station and proceeded to go check into the flat. Eventually, fellow mod KaynSlamdyke and long-time users HappySheep, JPI, Mogly and ChromeShark. We all settled in and got a bit of rest before heading out to the happy hour where more NG folks would be awaiting.

The living room was much too cramped for our gaming needs so we had JPI and TheHappySheep rearrange the furniture of one of the bedrooms so that we could set up JPI's projector and project the screen onto the wall. It worked out better than I would have thought.

That winds up Day 1, it mostly consisted of people flying in and getting acquainted with their surroundings. I was still way jetlagged but managed to get myself through the day uneventfully. On to day 2!
