Day 1: Beer Festival
This should actually be re-labeled as Day 2 since most of the staff had actually flown out the day before. But Psychgoldfish told me they didnt do much and there wasnt much of any photos so it seemed moot to cover it. I'll post a photo of their roast pig instead. So anyway, on the unofficial day 1, we met up at the Beerfest. It was actually really crowded so not a heck of alot of photos but its okay, the next day should make up for it!
Walking over to the Beer Festival! Couldnt help but notice a martini bar nearby.
The Beer Festival was a hot ticket, it was sold out. Even Ultrabear wanted to get in.
We arrived to a very yellow lit convention floor. I wonder if they did that on purpose
The Simpsons were the mascot of the festival. My sister couldnt help but take a photo with them.
I found this humorous and couldnt help but think of BoMToons
This 'booth' reminded me alot of the booths from San Diego Comic Con. Except more interesting cause it had beers inside.
Near the back of the convention room. They had a Silent Disco. Basically you get headphones that are networked to the DJ booth and everyones dancing quietly. Pretty interesting.
I'm pondering my next drink obviously...
Bob and the rest of the staff eventually caught up to us. I loved Bob's 'Mom likes me best' shirt.
It was a relatively short night, and Afro-Ninja and everyone else were staying at the same hotel, so we all walked back together, thats it for today!
