Day 2: Brewery tour

The second day of the meet started off with people waking up kind of late from the previous night's activities. Watchmen was premiering that day so we decided to catch a 12:30 showing so that we could make it over to the meet-up point in time. Nobody told me it was such a long movie and we ended up totally missing the afternoon meet-up time :( Anyway after Watchmen we headed over to the Heineken brewery for the tour. You know, touristy things.

Morning from the flat. You can kind of see the Heineken brewery in the distance
After some resistance we finally begun to wake up, there was some people waiting downstairs to go and get some breakfast.
Nothing fancy as far as breakfast goes, we went over to Subway. It was near the movie theatre showing Watchmen so it was convenient.

Fast forward 3.5 hours later, we headed back to the flat after Watchmen. We had totally blown the meet-up time at Leidsplein and I had my phone off while we were watching the movie so I was a fail.

Back at the flat, we were planning out where we were and where we wanted to go that day.
I was reviewing the many missed calls I had from people who had shown up and not found us.
SFB Tom still reeling from the night before.
I promise this is the last photo of us planning.
Hans and Gabs hangin out at the balcony of the flat.
Off to the Heineken Brewery, passing one of many canals that Amsterdam is known for.
I think we've arrived.
Walkin' through a line of copper stills used to boil the yeast and such.
Scuzzfest trying to hear his echo or something.
This was a cool poster.
There were these cardboat cut-out things and we couldnt resist taking pictures with. AsthmaticHamster slips in the tongue.
Hans trying to get a free sample from one of the display taps.
During one part of the tour, they had this music video thing where you were placed against a green screen and you had to sing some sort of Dutch folk song. Hans, Scuzzfest, and Luka give it their best shot.
Afterwards, it gives you the option to e-mail your music video so naturally we tried to e-mail it to Tom
This meet-up might have lacked RockBand, but it had a Heineken-themed foosball table, which is just as good.
I played horribly as usual. I hate soccer/football of any sort.
The blond ones, kind of looked like Catoblepas
They had some sort of tanning booth-looking chairs with monitors attached to the top of them. This picture is funny cause everyone else was with their girlfriend or whatever and I'm just kinda chillin.
As a reward for making it through the whole tour, we had some tokens for some free samples. Our very own SFB - Tom served us our booze.
SFB Tom skimming the foam off the glasses before serving us.
Earlier in the tour, we had the opportunity to have a custom label be printed on a Heineken bottle as a keepsake of the tour. Here, Luka and Scuzzfest watch bottles go through the assembly line
At the end of the tour, our newly imprinted Newgrounds Heineken came out fresh from the assembly line.
After the brewery tour, we headed back to the flat to relax for a few hours and kill some time until we were to head over to Leidsplein to meet-up with folks that we had missed earlier that day due to Watchmen.
In Leidsplein, from the window of an Irish pub we settled into
At the Irish pub: Luka, Scuzzfest and Kenney

We spent a few hours at the pub, and then we went back to Pinochio's briefly. Everyone was kind of hungover and tired from the night before so we retired pretty early and headed back to the flat

We noticed Luka was falling asleep so we all jumped on his bed to be jerks
This probably my favorite picture, Luka wasnt amused.

Eventually we all went to bed (not on Luka's bed), and that wrapped it up for the second day of this adventure.
