This game was made by myself and Psycosis91 for Pico day 2007 on Newgrounds. The aim of the game is to go out with a bang as Darnell, and take as many peeps as possible with you. I originally decided to use Darnell because he's a bit of an underused character, and animated him thinking a few years ahead of his reuccuring age.. so basically he's lookin' like a teenager. At first I was thinking, 'I want him to look french', whatever that means. :)
Was a fun game to make and cool to make something specifically for NG & Tom Flump's birthday. It was also fun to make it a bit of a pastiche to Toms games & some flash classics. Once you've played through the time attack mode once, you can play a Kaboom tribute. The menu's I decided to immitate Toms old look, which was also cool because he rereleased Pico vs Uberkids on the day.

This game was made for Hannukkah between myself and Evan aka Frosted Muffins. It's the followup to his last year hannukkah game Defend your Temple. We had to rush this to fit the Armor Games contest deadline.. which meant we layed off on some of the extra levels and ideas.
Although rushed, this game still managed to bag 10th place in the Armor Games christmas contest, ArmorGames crew pick, and Newgrounds front page bonus.. which equals $1100 :)
Like i've noticed with most other games on this page this was made for a contest. This one was for .. the Armor games summer contest I think.. Anyway enjoy.
Race past angry Scots, Irish and Welsh on your way to the airport to get to Germany for the World cup. Change your shirt to match the passing fans and dodge all those pesky obstacles. What a pickle.
Spaceship game

I began drawing up this game early last year just with the intention of making it sort of simillar to Tom Fulp's UFA, but sort of like a completely worked through version.
In the game, you'll have to blow up buildings, kill people and just generally destroy stuff while dodging the police. Currently we're working more on getting the engine together, then we'll work out the gameplay and story.
Clown game

I started on this game quite a while ago. The idea originally was to make a game where you basically just kill people in a smooth way. Like most ideas it slowly evolved, then I was thinking something along the lines of Skullkid, which I still am.
The newest Armor games contest has now come around and I think i'll enter this into that with an actionscripter. Possibly make it like Chainsaw the children, then see where it goes from there and if we feel like evolving it into something else.
To the left is the clown running graphic. I really like how this came out and how smooth it looks. You'll be able to shoot from the hip with your guns, and the bullet will follow wherever the gun is pointing as it's bouncing about. You'll also be able to stop and shoot, knife, and other stuff. Fun :)
Lil' black thing game :: 'Belle'

I did all the graphics for this over a weekend and was happy with the outcome. I don't have an idea for gameplay, more just stuff like ideas I want to include. More soon..

Update 4th April '07
Komix is now in on this game. Komix is an Austrian who has made some pretty cool games, specifically Rings and Sticks & Tri-Achnid. He is interested in films, and is a cool programmer :). So far we've got a pretty cool basic engine together. One thing to look out for already done is that there will be a whole world in this game rather than like a level.. and it actually rotates too :).
Game is back on the go as of today. Lets hope we can pick up where we left off smoothly :)
Soldier game

One thing im looking forward to finishing is a soldier game, which i've been doing the sprites for pretty quickly. You can see them so far, here. The idea for the game is a little up in the air right now, but think along these lines - if you've played a typical army game on a console - not like that. I want it to be at the other end of the scales in terms of realism. And when I say game, it's not going to be the most fun, or entertaining to play. Well actually that's a lie, to compensate for the not-so-fun gameplay, there'll be a two player mode.

This game should be off to a quick start, and be finished soon after. I'm trying to get as many sprites done on the spot so that when I hand over to Coaly, who is actionscripting this, he'll have an easy and decent job rather than being bogged down, waiting on me, repeat.
