Birthday and other shit.

Luis January 23rd, 2008

So this past weekend it was my birthday… I spent it over in London with about 20 people who met me there. Some of em I’d known from way back and some for the first time. Nonetheless it was quite memorable and to have 15+ people living under one roof for like 4 days is absolute madness.

I think this photo sums it up best.

In other news, I’m going to be in Philadelphia this weekend at the NG office to wrap up a figurine painting project that was in the works since last year.

Lastly I’ll be going out of town the following weekend to goto the Bahamas. I’ll try and squeeze an AOTM if I can. If not then it’ll be second week of Feb. I also have two finished movies that I need to upload to the site. I’m a bit behind and its only January.

*PS This month’s own Brad Borne released his Fancy Pants Adventures 2 game. GO PLAY IT! I have some artwork in there… as does TommyLM and a slew of other past AOTM artists!

New Year, new features, new stuff and other things!

Luis January 2nd, 2008

Back from my new years hangover, I was suprisingly more productive than I’m sure you all ever gave me credit for. I recently wrapped up a fun little short for the Radical Wrong Doers called RWD: Eazy Duz It, it did better than I thought it would. It’ll be available on the site later this week but feel free to view it via Newgrounds. I’ve also wrapped up an animation on AJAX, sounds boring I know but it was for work and I tried to make it as entertaining as I possibly could make something so code heavy and dry. Trust me it was hard.

That will be out tmrw. What IS out TODAY is a brand new AOTM: Brad Borne. I’m pretty excited about featuring Brad because it just so happens the hugely anticipated Fancy Pants Adventures World 2 is going to release this month. Anyway go enjoy the many wonderful things I’ve exposed you to! Oh I’ll also be in London in two weeks. So I may not update the site beyond this weekend, but its not like anyones biting their nails anyway. TEOL.

Last BUT NOT LEAST, I have implemented a ratings system on my animations, you can now quickly rate the movies you watch. It’s been something that’s been a long time coming i know. But I didnt want to open it up to reviews and be spammed to hell by bots, I figure through ratings you can still voice your opinion and I can still keep my sanity and keep spam bots off the site. ENJOY.

Feliz Navidad!

Or whatever holiday you are celebrating this year! I’m too lazy to to type out all of them and be politically correct. Sorry.
