One of the things about the Newgrounds community that is often overlooked is just how creative and hungry people are to CREATE. This project originally started with the idea of a simple personal weekend project for my own personal escape from Flash and computer things. I went out and bought myself one KidRobot's Munny figurines. Naturally, my project ended up having a very newgroundsy theme because I'm just so obsessed with the site. But more importantly, it got me thinking about just what other artists in the NG community might be able to make if they had their own little blank figurine to work with. A few conversations with Tom Fulp, and the Munny Competition was born. I ordered a slew of blank I,WZL's they were small, cheap (about 5 dollars), and easy to ship out. I created a thread on the art forum and just threw the idea out there and see if I could generate some interest. As extra insentive and to continue to encourage further creativity Tom graciously allowed me to finance 5 KidRobot Munny's to send out to the 5 most creative solution to the little WZL's. Many, many months later the WZL's have made it back to my possession and they finally made it up to the NG office to make their debut and to live for the rest of eternity!
Much thanks to everyone that participated, it was an extremely fun project to manage and to oversee. I will probably bring it back for another go later in the year for 2008.
This page represents the culmination of many months of hard work by the artists who worked on the project and just the willpower of the project itself to pull through.

The much anticipated WZL's finally arrived to the office, it was really cool to finally see them at their resting place and to finally share them with the NG staff. Fellow NG members The-Swain, Senti, and Afro-Ninja joined in the debut and conclusion to the project. Enough talk and on with the photos!
